Carl was off to school. 
His lunchbox a blue mule. 

The bus arrived with no fuel. 
Carl gets on like a fool. 

The back seat is open, cool. 
Rubber is slashed to be cruel. 

Tire is flat and no tire tool. 
Carl is bored and leaking drool.

Painted red like blood. 
Hitting children with a thud

The bus is stopped on the track.

Carl goes flying through glass. 
Out on to the lawn of grass. 

The bus is shipped of to a yard. 
Carl is sent to the hospital ward. 

Like a supermarket paid in bread. 
The bus is painted a bright red.

Carl is released to the street. 
The bus is fixed like a swim meet. 

Tearing up the asphalt.
